Painting Pricing -

• The price stated is what you would pay if you saw the painting at my home and took it with you when you left.
• Additions to the prices I list on this website include, but are not limited to:
1. Commissions on sales listed by art galleries, dealers, etc.
2. Crating, shipping, handling: all costs in transporting the work to your choice of destinations.
3. Any and all applicable taxes.
• Most of my paintings are framed by me before sale, and that cost is included. I prefer my frames because they do not hide even a fraction of the surface I intended to paint.

Commissions -

• Commissions are a tricky, sticky business. So far I have been lucky enough to have very understanding people commission a total of five paintings under these conditions:
  1. They chose a style, a color scheme, or another of my paintings - as examples for me to work from - and I completed the painting(s). No progress reports were given, no prepayments were required. If they liked the finished result the painting(s) were theirs. If they did not approve of the it(them), the painting (s) became mine to do with as I wished.
     • For a visual example of these successful ventures check out my Show Gallerys. A * beside the title indicates the work was initially commissioned.
• I cannot guarantee that I will allow these conditions in all circumstances. Though I can only see a problem when the work itself will take a month or more to complete. For those rare instances I have contracts prepared which will require a "sit down" discussion to agree on terms.
