(Sides A & B)

Side A has a charm in the way the darker marks balance out the larger mush of browns and the few smatterings of green. A quiet blue and a touch of orange liven up the earthy tones.

I like the way side B is "open" - showing the cloth upon which it is painted. Even with so few marks (dapples of color) it has a kind of snakey diagonal meandering from one corner to its kitty-corner.

• I frame all my paintings, (with few exceptions). I prefer my frames because they do not hide even a fraction of the surface I intended to paint. However if you do not like the frame I put on the painting it is no big chore for me to remove it. Exception: Found Art works will not be re-framed.
