You see what you want to see, you hear what you want to hear. In our dreams or in our waking moments that statement is often true. Our lives as well as our dreams are colored by our expectations.

This is a "toggle switch" question. It sets a stage for the interactions between you (your choices) and life.

...but if life is a dream...

then,

The glass is not real.

This painting is part of a series commissioned in a "southwestern Style." It's not what I would normally consider "southwestern" but since I know the patron I knew this would work out, and it did. The other two paintings in this series are: The Distance Between, and Not Meant to Last Forever.

• The prices you see are all based on what you would pay if you saw the painting at my home and took it with you when you left.
• Additions to the prices I list on this website include, but are not limited to:

• My paintings are framed by me before sale, (with few exceptions) and that cost is included. I prefer my frames because they do not hide even a fraction of the surface I intended to paint. However if you do not like the frame I put on the painting it is no big chore for me to remove it. Exception: Found Art works will not be re-framed.
