Sex
the Color Complex
This is a
test of myself more than anything else, could I design an open "airy"
kind of composition? --- lol --- All I know is that it LOOKS different
from any of my other paintings.
As for the
narrative of this work --- most of it is visibly evident and plainly
simple, but for my definition of the word "color" you'd have
to refer to the following, postulate/result I wrote for one of my "under
the influence of college paintings:"
If black represents
evil,
white represents
good
and grays
are the gradations of both combined,
where does
color fit in?
Color is neither
good or evil of itself, it is a phenomena devoid of preconceptions.
Yet because of it we find ourselves in positions which urge us to make
decisions that may cause good, evil, yada, yada, yada...
