Born: Tulsa, Oklahoma - Oct. 31, 1958

College: Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, University of Kansas

Employed: Advanced Micro Devices, 15 years - during their "journey to excellence" training - they taught us the chip making process in great detail.

Post college personal studies: (Books that left an impression on me.)

  • A Short History of Nearly Everything, by Bill Bryson

  • Evolution, by Steven Baxter

  • Chaos, by James Gleick

  • The Tao of Physics, by Fritjof Capra

  • The Elegant Universe, by Brian Greene

  • The Origin of Consciousness Through the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind, by Julien Janes (lol, yes it's a mouthful AND a mind-full.)

  • I Ching (I read it like a book.)

  • The Holographic Universe, by Michael Talbot

I create what I do because the subject interests me. I feel compelled to contemplate that thing, idea, relationship, or whatever. I learn from the process of creating the image and working on it.
